Good day
I'm Pierre Theron one of decedents /relative of late Danie Theron. Danie Theron had no children as far as I know but he was a Uncle of my Grandfather. I'm currently staying in De Aar Northen Cape. A week ago I went to Gariep dam in Colesberg area. I was walking in the field and saw some structures that looked like graves. Is it possible that it could dated back to Anglo Boer war. There was no markings or anything. I know in that region was activity in the war. I would like to know if there is somebody that is doing research about graves in that area etc.

Many of those who fell in the larger battles and were buried where they fell were collected and re-interred in more central locations but many of the more remote burials must have remained.
