Hi, I have just started to research my Great Grandfather. I found his WWI papers here in Canada. In those he states he served with the 101 Co Imp; Yeomanry (12 months SA).

Harry Chester Trooper 36001 1902
DOB Oct 16, 1880 Lambeth, London England

That is all the information I have for him.


I have tried to find his name in several spots here, but am having no luck. Can anyone help???

Good Morning Jo-ann….

David who is the owner and moderator of this forum has put on tons and tons and tons of information on the forum but I am afraid that there is only so much he can do and of what is out there that he cannot put it all on for a number of reasons..... The biggest thing is the Copyright on the ownership of the research..... That is why he depends on us the humble members of the forum to share all the information that we can..... We have learned or at least I have learned many many things thanks to the many members here that are to many to mention but I still have to say thanks to the work that David has done.....
