We have had several very helpful responses from you, djb and Linneyl, Rory, david h. Thank you for your help as my brother and I get to know our Uncle William Wright and the meaning of his medals.
We have a few more questions: 1. What were his years of active service? 2. What rank did he attain? 3. Did he retire from DLI? 4. Was he part of any former military organizations i.e. British versions of VFW etc. 5. Are there any pictures of him or his unit?
