Greetings from Canada. Harry James Ingold was my father's uncle. He left England in 1898 to search for diamonds in South Africa. The family never heard from him again. Recently, I discovered Harry had enlisted in Warren's Mounted Infantry and served the mandatory 3 months. He is listed on the medal rolls, but I cannot understand the abbreviations and numbers.

My goal here is to learn much more about the war, Colonialism and it's effects, and maybe some clues as to what happed to Harry James Ingold.
