I have found a interesting snippet in a newspaper regarding two soldiers of the Duke Of Cornwall'S Light Infantry Volunteer Service Company, who it says saved the life of a soldier of the 1st Volunteer Service Coy Shropshire L.I., I think I have found the Attestation papers of the two D.C.L.I., lads, do we have any members who collect to this unit and might be able to help me further,
My main interest is that I have the medal to the soldier who was saved, also would be very interesting to know if the D.C.L.I., lads got the life saving medal.
Any help or information to this query will be much appriciated
