Greetings from Canada, I am doing some searching dealing with a Great Uncle who served in the Boer War. I have a number of photographs, items carved by Boer P.O.W.s and his QSA medal. Trying to piece together his service before he emigrated to Canada.

Thanks for the welcome...his name was Henry Gardner, according to his QSA medal he was a gunner in 6th E.D. of the R.G.A.

His number was 27566 from the QSA roll in WO100/146 p33.

Checked the soldiers' papers on FMP and they are available. The information says he was born in 1879 in London.
