on wed cert he was a sailorand living in lowwood st
Liverpool I know it is not a lot to go onbut that's all I have to go on I am trying to get as much as I can out of the elders

If he was born in 1892 I am not sure that he would have served I the Boer War as he would have been 7 when it started and 10 when it ended......

Might have been Merchant Navy rather than Royal Navy. If that was the case, and he served in WW2, you might be able to find him here www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/merc...eamen-medals-ww2.htm
