I'm trying to help my Dad find out more about his Uncle who was a member of the Warwickshire Imperial Yeomanry and died whilst serving with Pontoon Troop from Enteric Fever on 21/04/1901.
Whilst it is helpful to know this we would really like to know where he would have been buried.........does anyone know how we can find this out?

Hi Fifi

Post his name and if that information is on one of the casualty rolls, then it can be looked up for you.

Garrett's name is on the Royal Engineers memorial in the Cathedral of St Michael and George in Aldershot and if you get chance to visit Buckinghamshire, stop off at Wendover and walk up to the top of Coombe Hill, you will find a very impressive memorial and his name is also on that too, you need to pick a day with good weather for this latter!
