Hi all. Am new here so a little about myself. I farm in Tarkastad and own the farm Glen Fergus."Groennek" is often mentioned in boer war topics. It is on Glen Fergus.It is a break in the mountain that has a trail through.I think the farm below was called Groennek as well.I used to own the farm Groot Haasfontein in same district that beloned to my grandfather where i believe Jan Smuts camped on his way past there.They apparently burnt sneezewood fencepoles because it was so cold.
