Unfortunately 'A' Battery were ineffective at Elandslaagte as their guns didn't have the required range and their shells fell short.

Some familiar names there!

I have the medal to WH Cain and had the medals to P Gascoyne and A Exall at one time.

I also had the 1906 Bambatha Medal to another chap who gets a mention - CPL Flood, he was serving with the Natal Police after the ABW.
