Your contribution to Boer War research and this site has been immense. I will cite the Tribute Medal database as a major advancement in everyone's knowledge of the conflict, the people and communities involved.

I must also acknowledge the broad range and sheer quality of the images you post on the site. We have all learnt so much about arms and ammunition, porcelain, transport ships, ...

We are very fortunate to count you amongst our number and thank you for all your work, research, images and innumerable other contributions.

None of this would be possible without the existence of this forum. Without ABW.com much of the wealth of information and research that has been posted here by members over the years would doubtless be stored on private hard drives around the world, unpublished.

Congratulations on reaching another milestone.
The quality of content on this forum is vastly benefitted by your range of subject matter. It is definitely not just all about medals!

The most important thing that I have gained from your contribution is to develop a better 'eye' when browsing auction lists and antique dealers, and noticing connections with the ABW that would have otherwise been missed.
My interest in tribute medals (particularly to the Worcesters) kicked off from reading the amazing section that you have created. An outstanding resource.

Also your feedback to the humblest of artefacts that we post on the forum helps to keep up the enthusiasm to get out there and search for more!!
