Well done David and David, that is a truly impressive milestone.

Fortunately I was able to congratulate my good friend in person earlier this afternoon!

It is a record to be proud of.

I asked him earlier the inevitable question - Has, or could he recall any bronze medal coming his way as a result of his dedicated postings?

If there any Forumite who has a suitable bronze QSA which they are prepared to part with I invite them to send me a PM. I promise to find a more than adequate medal in exchange!

Well done to the Davids' - is there a way to see a demographic? I.e. national split or other of who is viewing the thread and from where?

Thanks chaps. A bit of fun although looking back on some of the posts I realise how much you can learn in 10 years about a subject & how much rubbish I wrote. & yes RobCT, it started off as a "fishing expedition" to see what was available in terms of medals & information. A complete failure in those terms but so facinating that people have taken an interest. ( a side note that for some reason ......prehaps because of this thread the market price of Indian medals has dropped to my short term advantage but leaving my heirs impeccunious .)
The interest is more acute - there are murderers out there, people who attacked Gandhi physically & whom Gandhi defended, people who settled in South Africa & became leaders of society. This week was the entitlement of the only combination of the QSA/China medal to an Indian.
So my advice is build a moat round your house, change the lock on your safe & take up personal protection. I am still on the prowl......
