I can see the problem, Berenice. Many years ago I was taken to see a church somewhere in darkest East Sussex, where an isolated church in the middle of what seemed to be a wide floodplain contained a memorial to a man who had served in the Anglo-Zulu War. I have now forgotten both the name of the place and the man, and, after all this time, the church may well be a ruin. It is very sad, and, as a lapsed Anglican, I am a contributor to the problem, although in the Colonies not at 'home'.
