In the Leicestershire Regiment Chapel in St Martin's Cathedral.



The inscription immediately below the window reads -

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF THE OFFICERS, NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND MEN OF THE LEICESTERSHIRE REGIMENT WHO WERE KILLED IN ACTION OR DIED OF WOUNDS OR DISEASE IN THE SOUTH AFRICAN WAR 1899-1902. THIS WINDOW AND TABLET IS DEDICATED BY THE FOUR BATTALIONS OF THE REGIMENT

I searched the papers last night for mention of when the plaque was erected but sadly nothing made it to the papers I can access online.

I'll try phoning round next week, there's bound to be a regimental historian somewhere. The regiment (now part of the Royal Anglian Regiment) may be able to help.
