In Atherton Cemetery, the town of Atherton being 5 miles east of Wigan, and 2 miles north of Leigh.
.
Dr. Prestwich's is the only ABW-related death I've found from Atherton so far. There was a brass plaque to his memory at Nottingham General Hospital which is now "missing." John Prestwich graduated from Victoria University in 1897, after studying at Owens College.
