The Boer War memorial within Albert Park Middlesbrough
The Dorman museum just outside Albert Park was built as a memorial to the casualties of the Boer War.

Albert Park South Africa War Memorial Middlesbrough.
I was lucky enough to find this postcard on ebay and managed to purchase it.
Middlesbrough is my home town and I spent many hours as a youngster playing in this park.
The photographs posted earlier show the changes in the park, the postcard has a postmark of 4th June 1910.

Paul, missed the origin post of this one somehow. The postcard complements the photos wonderfully.

Cheers,

Mark

While browsing through my new Times Weekly Edition 1901 & 1902 I spotted this casualty notice to one of the men on this memorial.
