Book 2, page 8
68/Gen No/1992
7.3.08

Reported that on the night of 2.9.07 the office of the Depot, Highland LI, Hamilton, was broken into and various medals stolen. Board of Enquiry held on 14.9.06 and determined that the responsible officer (Major F M Sandys-Lumsdaine) should bear the cost of replacement. This has been fixed at £15.5.1 (64 medals and 113 clasps, silver at 2/3 per ounce and cost of making a medal 1/2 and clasp 5d)

List of decorations verified 13.3.07.

Duplicate copy of roll 68//Gen No/1992 placed in cupboard, to be issued as shown thereon, when required.
