I have the following QSA 1899-1902 with clasps for Cape colony, Wepner,Transvaal & Wittebergen to 376 TPR D BALLOCK. BRABANTS.HORSE who was taken prisoner of war at Browns farm 7 February, 1900.
From David Biggin's excellent book on Wepener, I learned the following.

Ballock served in the 1st BrH from 28 November 1899 to 19 February 1901. He enlisted at 26 years old at King William's Town and was posted to D Troop. He was a Wagon Master by trade. On 7 February he was captured at Brown's Farm. He also served in Scott's Railway Guards from 20 March to 14 September and again from 25 September to 25 March 1902. He was entitled to a KSA with Scott's Railway Guards as the unit.
If anyone knows of Ballock's KSA, I would appreciate it if you'd contact me as I'd like to reunite the pair. Thanks in advance.
