Hi all,

I'm looking for the Boer War medal and clasps for Trooper John Ernest Burt # 23508, 48th Company, 7th Battalion (North Somerset) Imperial Yeomanry.

Originally from Bath, England, John enlisted in early 1901 and was among the second contingent of the Imperial Yeomanry.

He was awarded the QSA with clasps for Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (see attached image).

He survived the war and returned home to Bath. Sadly he died in 1908 at age at age 35 and was the father of 5 children.

If anyone knows of a lead or another place that might help, any assistance is appreciated.
