Doing some cleaning up this afternoon and ran across an old catalogue / price list and I thought I would share......

This was from when I first started collecting QSA's.......

All I want for Christmas is a Time Machine......

I will use it and then rent it out to all the rest of you.......

I've got a Spinks list from 1935, all the Kaplan lists from the first issued and, of course, the Lovell sale Sotheby's 1978 but I'm not sure it*s going to make anyone happy to read them!

The differences between 'then' and 'now' prices are particularly striking for South Africans, because the SA Rand has devalued so much. What started out as 1 GBP = 2 ZAR is now 1 GBP = about 16 ZAR.
