Interested Members
I found this double CD in the Sydney NSW ABC shop a few weeks ago and have meant to feature it ever since! The second CD is more likely to interest Forum members; I found it quite unusual to hear "Dolly Grey" and "The Absent Minded Beggar" put to music when I have only ever seen them written in books and leaving the tune to my imagination, as it were. I can really imagine some of these ditties being sung around a camp fire on a cold night amid puffing tobacco pipes and perhaps a tot of rum.
