Dave - my copy of the atlas arrived on Tuesday and I am looking forward to perusing it.

Rory - What an excellent book. Coincidentally, I quoted from Hickman in an article for Medal news on Kraaipan. I m looking for a reasonably priced copy myself.

Hard to find David. I've snaffled volume 1, now to find the one I am really after, volume 2. It features quite a bit on Lt. Agar whose medals I have.

Hello David /Rory
There are 3 copies ( vol 1) for sale in the UK from Abe Books, price range from £40 to £45, second hand but in reasonable good condition. As Rory mentioned, Vol 2 is more elusive.
PS Rory, Volume 1 and 2 are for sale on Abe Books for £250 for both volumes, book shop is in Johannesburg. Might be worth asking if they would sell separately.?

Dave,
Glad your evenings are sorted with appropriate refreshment!!
Once I had the Atlas in hand I really appreciated the large atlas format which makes it so easy to read and view. Most accounts of battles and movements in other publications usually require the aid of a magnifier!! The use of contour lines on the maps also brings the landscape of the locations to life.
