I was very excited to receive an email from City Coins on 16th April announcing:

City Coins is pleased to announce that Postal Medal Auction no. 62 will be issued shortly both in hard copy and online version.

The launch of the new City Coins website is planned to coincide with the listing of this Postal Medal Auction No 62.

I keep checking the site but there is no information as yet.

Does anyone know a date when the information will be available?

I heard through the grapevine that the auction will be launched at the end of May. However, news such as this can often be misleading!!!

Going on past experience methinks "issued shortly" can be translated to August 2012.

I hope for everyone's sake that I am wrong!

Word has it that several "prominent" Natal based collections are featured but I have not been able to ascertain whose.

I would be well pleased if it's in August as the tax man owe's me a good few rand.

Yes, I have heard the same thing about the Natal based collections up for auction. Perhaps a good few Natal Police groups up for grabs???

Hi All,

I have been checking their website on a regular basis also. August will suit me also as the taxman should return some of my hard earned funds even though the exchange rate is good at the present.
I am holding out for a QSA with Modder River and Belmont clasps to a colonial.
