Just thought I would share this with the forum. The Jeffery Hoare Auctions has closed. Wendy has decided to retire. I wish her all the best her retirement. Unfortunately, this leaves a huge void in the Canadian Collecting market.

Mike, how long had the company been in business, it is certainly not good news for the Canadian market, but, nothing is forever and everyone has to retire at some point.

Jeffery Hoare Auctions has been a great source of Canadian material and will be much missed.

They were in business for over 40 years..... At least there will be three more sales before the finally close.... Mike

Well, I think it is always sad to see a well established business close it's doors, the problem is that they are not being replaced, these days more and more of the fly by night types who sell their rubbish on line seem to be turning up.
