Well we had a fall season of less that one week and now we have winter...…

80 cm in 24 hours...… Thank god I have a large collection enough to last the season of Irish Water of Life.....

Police report that in the 23 hours nearly 400 accidents as people are not used to driving in snow yet.....

At least the garden was harvested....

Goodness! This is when an indoor hobby really comes into its own.

Too many rainy days in the UK just lately, but we've also been getting some nice days occasionally. This was early morning in Lancaster a week last Saturday, probably the last hot day of the year.

Hi David..... Yes an indoor hobby is great especially with a computer and friends like those here on this forum.....

Looking at those photographs, the trees appear to be in leaf, winter seems to have arrived before the fall.

Yes you are right the leaves on my apple trees had turned red and my cottonwood yellow but had not fallen yet.... The city is reporting a lot of trees with broken limbs due to weight of snow..... The farmers were just starting the harvest and only about 20% completed.....
