Good day. I found 2 items in the hills where the British defenses was, just outside Philippolis. The tubular item was found inside one of the rock defensive positions. The thinner part turns in and out of the thicker part, I have no idea what this is, any ideas? The second item is Symington's Pea Flour tin, also found at another defensive position. Is this from that era?

From 1906.....



Years ago, I knew someone who was from Market Harborough who had played for Symington's Football Club in the mid-1940s. He became a Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force and piloted the Queen's Flight, if I remember correctly.
