I'm sure I read this in David Copperfield:

“No more than one auction a month, result happiness.
Spink, DNW, Noble Numismatics and City Coins in the same month, result misery”

Would these auctions be the ones normally held at time of the cancelled OMRS Convention.....

Is there talk of CC already? This normally manifests itself in September doesn't it?

I was thinking worse case scenario with a summer date for City Coins.

I’m predicting that some credit card accounts are going to be showing signs of wear and tear by the end of August.

Hi,

I've joined the site to answer the question "who bought the QSA to G Falcon (Roberts Horse)" having just seen the post and chain? Guy Falcon was my Great-Grandfather's younger brother, I've a detailed hand written letter from another brother Robert Falcon (Roberts Horse) to their mother Hannah Falcon (my Great-Great Grandmother) describing the incident in detail. While Robert was not directly involved he was not far from the incident and does talk about 'treachery' in his letter.

There was also an older sister Margaret Falcon who served as a nurse in South Africa dying of enteric in Apr 1902, I bought her KSA off e-bay back in 2007! Her QSA is still out there somewhere. Tragically Guy and Margaret were not the only fatalities too befall the Falcon family, their youngest brother Francis Falcon died at Gallipoli serving with the Worcestershire Regiment in 1915, again his trio is out there somewhere.

Anyway I thought I would answer the question and If anyone does have information on the Guy Falcon incident I'd be most grateful to hear from them.

Thank you

Andrew
