I wonder if that is why they have decided to use the 360 degree view on that medal? The catalogue description that the Natal Medal is 'engraved in upright capitals' does not indicate whether this is unusual but it is only the draft catalogue so perhaps this will be edited.

My expectation of the style of naming. This by the way was when cutting & pasting ment cutting & pasting. Probably in the 1970's
Looking for Salutries, Salootries and Veterinary Duffadars.
I collect primarily QSAs to Indian Recipients.

Despite the last DNW auction only ending yesterday afternoon, the preview for the September sale makes for interesting browsing as there are already a large number of South Africa 1834-53 and South Africa 1877-79 medals catalogued.

Very few QSA so far but it has been an exceptional year, particularly for South African QSAs.

The amount of 1834-53 medals is truly bewildering, but, to see a quantity of South Africa War medals and 1879 clasps is really quite pleasing, these days, given the relative scarcity of them in todays marketplace.
