I would love to get a copy......

But

It is written in Afrikaans.......

Does anyone know if it was published in English......

I am sure that if they published a copy in English it would sell very well......

I know that, mainly for climatic reasons, most emigrating South Africans prefer Australia to Canada, but perhaps you could advertise for one in Calgary and have him/her volunteer to be your Afrikaans translator. You will then develop a whole new perspective of the ABW!

I bought it from Nordbruch personally. Funny character : I had to meet him in the middle of the parking lot of a shopping centre with the correct amount in cash!!

Mike - you noted the pictures, looking at those shown in eBay, most I am sure you would recognise many as they seem to be taken from the usual suspects - With The Flag, ILN etc..

Then there are the concentration camp pictures, I wonder what the link with Foreign Volunteers is - they were not involved in the camps in anyway. I can only think the author has gone off on a tangent and Henk's comment backs my suspicion up.

I won't buy a copy unless it is recommended. What has been published already on foreign volunteers is pretty good.
