David, thanks. The medal groups of both the Captain and Second in Command of the Warren hastings were in the 1999 Spink anniversary sale. Both saw subsequent service in the Boer War. J

Unhappy memories. The group to Holland was the first choice of the many possibilities at the 1999 auction but my brother and I were outbid unfortunately. Oh, well, the consolation items proved to be very good!
