Neale,

There are service papers for a couple of people with this name. Do either of these fit what you know already:

NEALE, Mark. Born 1869 in Southampton, Hampshire. WO97 Chelsea
NEALE, Martin. Born ?. WO97 Chelsea

From the medal roll (WO100/219p80), 15324 M Neale would have been awarded the CC clasp but he was discharged for misconduct and no medal was issued off this RAMC roll.

8053 M Neal (no e) is listed on the RAMC roll WO100/220p210 with the single clasp RoL and a note saying 'To Mooi River 17 May 1900'.

Hi David, sorry for the late reply, I have only just looked again

Medal shows 8053 Cpl. M. Neale R.A.M.C.

I will have a look at that page that you have pointed out:

"8053 M Neal (no e) is listed on the RAMC roll WO100/220p210 with the single clasp RoL and a note saying 'To Mooi River 17 May 1900".

I have got hold of the Pte. 15324. M. Neale information already and as you say he was discharged.

I will update this post again when I find out any more information.

Thanks for the help and the reply.

Regards,
Chris.
