I am looking for more information on our Carol and I(Charlotte) Grandfather . Who was in the SAC .I found his name Hendrie Robert Somerville Headquarter Depot

We are also looking for a photo . It would be a miracle if you had one or more details . He was there from 1899-1902 he was discharged in 28 June 1901

With a name like that one does not need his service number to find him on a medal roll on Ancestry.

I think Carol (Long) of Carol & Charlotte has already been there and created a Public Family Tree on Ancestry which gives his whole life profile including said medal roll & his 1903 marriage record on which he gave his occupation as "Theatrical Manager".

As for a photo I am afraid I cannot help.

Hello He was born in 1874 .We have on form from him in the SAC with general details languages colour eyes etc but we are looking for more details and a photo
