Does anyone have any info on a skirmish that took place on 4 February 1902? I have a QSA/KSA to a DC Trollip who was WIA on that date, I suspect it's in the Cape Colony.

I think have a look at Maurice; it mentions an engagement on the 6th Feb 1902 at that location.

David - you clinched it with the newspaper extract - how D.C. Trollip, F.I.D. became B.Trollop, as per the newspaper, is anyone's guess. I am taaking full advantage of the Find My Past free weekend which is where I dug up that Denham Cameron Trollip, QSA (CC/OFS) Eastern Province Horse and KSA (Field Intelligence Dept.) was WIA there,
