28th April Geluk.

Thanks RR - can you post a wider image of the map please? I see Smithfield down south and Dordrecht and Middelburg up to the north and north east. Odd, as Smithfield (the town) is in the Orange Free State and the other two in the Eastern Cape.

Hello Rory

Yes, agreed - appears to be the Free State and not the Cape Colony. Wakkerstroom does not quite fit the timeline if you take into consideration the SALH casualties during the period of April 1901.
