British Newspapers across the country reported the 17th August 1901 happenings at Bronkhorst Spruit. Unlike Kitchener's Report they all give the strength of the attackers as 50 Morley's Scouts & 100 South African Constabulary. The Boer strength varies between 600 and 800. One states that most of Morley's Scouts were turned Boers. Also found this photo of George A Moberly in The Graphic of 19 April 1902. Apologies about the quality but beyond my control.
