Are papers available for the Cape Town Highlanders anywhere?

I'm trying to research William Mitchell who was the RSM then commissioned in the Boer War.

I an not aware of anything here in the UK on the CTH.

The Castle Museum or Cape Archives would probably be good places to start.

I have a CTH QSA and it arrived with a page of research from (if my memory serves me correct) the unit association or museum. I’ll look for it on the weekend and verify that for you.

Ryan, have you seen this collection of newspaper clippings etc about Captain Mitchell which someone known as 'SM' sent from Wynberg to a Mr W. Mitchell in Portsmouth (his father?) in 1900 : http://www.hnco.com.au/rare-1900-boer-war-postal-cover-contents-cpt-mitchell-cape-town-highlanders/ ?

The wrapper is an interesting bit of Anglo-Boer War memorabilia.
