Does anyone know if there were any PoWs for the Australian, Canadian, Indian and New Zealand contingents? Numbers, actions/battles and names would be most welcome.
Thank you in advance,
John

John
Laurie Field's "The Forgotten War" includes an Appendix D; which has a listing of men "Captured by the Enemy" -
Australian Contingent 5 officers 99 Men
Canadian Contingent 1 officer 20 Men
New Zealand Con't 2 officers 35 Men
A good place to start looking for Contingents, actions etc would be SAFF.

IL.

John, The Register does !

I have put together a quick summary for you: theangloboerwars.blogspot.com/2019/12/po...ial-contingents.html

The Australian researcher Neil Smith published in 2005 a list of Australian national POWs - he has 224 names.

Happy New Year.
