Hello All,

Does anyone have access to the above Ref at the NA. I am trying to find out if the attestation paper for 1115 Sgt John Dudgeon DCM has survived.

Many thanks

I am happy to search in the records in Find My Past but don't see this particular reference in a search for a John Dudgeon (several results for that name). Do you have a birthdate?...is 1115 his service no?

Hi Spooner,

Thank you for the reply. I have searched Find my Past but it appears that his attestation papers is in Kew in the Reference I have given but they haven't been digitized at this point it seems.

Apparently his attestation papers shows his Reg number as 1154 but the LG and his DCM show 1115 as does his QSA and KSA and the SALH rolls

He was born on the 10.08.1862 but some sources have his DOB as 1863. He was born in Kirkliston in Scotland.

Many Thanks

Regards
