The Minho sailed from Southampton yesterday afternoon with 6 complete companies (110 men each) of Imperial Yeomanry Major Griffith, 1/Leicestershire Regiment, in command.

The Carisbrook Castle left Southampton Saturday with 3 officers and 330 men from the Imperial Yeomanry

The Gascon left Southampton Saturday afternoon with 13 officers and 1,110 men from the Imperial Yeomanry Major Payne, Wiltshire Regiment, in command.

Colonel Kennedy and Captain Meiklejohn, V C are passengers in the Raglan Castle which sailed from Southampton Saturday afternoon for St Helena and the Cape.

The St Andrew arrived at Queenstown Saturday night and yesterday embarked the following:

The Kildonan Castle embarked at Queenstown 3 cos. M I Liverpool Regiment, 1 co. York & Lancaster Regiment, 5 officers and 136 men ofKRRC, 4 officers and 134 men of the Rifle Brigade, and 5 officers and 130 men and details. Total on board 85 officers and 1,814 men. She sailed yesterday afternoon.

 

The German arrived yesterday morning at Southampton and landed 163 "undesireables” from the Cape.

The South Australia on Monday from Albert Docks and Queenstown on Thursday will take 550 remounts.

The Morayshire on Wednesday from Southampton will take 1,093 officers and men, 956 being South African Constabulary & 116 from the Volunteer Company, East Kent Regiment

The Salmis on Thursday from Albert Docks will take 782 Imperial Yeomanry and Irish Regiment draft.

The Saxon on next Saturday from Southampton will take 742 including 448 I Y, a Volunteer Company South Wales Borderers and reinforcements for the Volunteer Companies of Yorkshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire and King’s Royal rifles.

The German, April 1, from Southampton will take 827 including the 22/Imperial Yeomanry and a Yeomanry draft.

The Delphic, 30 Mar from Albert Docks and Queenstown on 2 April, with 450 horses.

The Wakool, Apr 3, from Southampton and Queenstown Apr 5, with 742, including 5/R Irish Rifles.

The Sunda sailed about 2 pm Saturday from Albert Docks with 27 officers and 773 men.

The Malta sailed about 1 pm Saturday from Albert Docks with 33 officers and 1,073 men.

The Norman arrived at Southampton yesterday with a number of officers. The following were listed: Colonel Burn, Major Vandeleur and Captain Carter, DAAG
