WARRNAMBOOL. — Three of the returned soldiers – Sergt. S. FERGUSON and Privates W. O'Mullane and T. HESSION – were entertained by the Warrnambool battery and the townspeople. The two first named were presented with gold medals by the battery; and with silver watches by the public, and Private HESSION was presented by the citizens with a gold ruby ring. Sergt. GEARY, who re turned recently, has had a silver watch forwarded to him, and Corporal HIGGINS and Sergt.-Major COGHLAN were presented with field glasses and compasses.
