KADINA, May 10.

Tpr. H.M. GROWDEN who has just returned from South Africa, was entertained at a social at Wallaroo Mines on Thursday evening by the members of the Natives’ Football Club. He was also presented with a gold medal on behalf of the club, of which he was elected captain.

Kadina, May 9.

On Thursday evening a social was tendered to Trooper GROWDEN by the members of the Natives' Football Club at Wallaroo Mines. A good programme was submitted and speeches of welcome were made. The returned trooper was presented with a handsome gold medal, and elected to the position of captain of the club.
