ST. BARNABAS' CHURCH
The annual social and church gathering of St. Barnabas' Church, George Street West, took place on Tuesday evening last. The chair was occupied by the Archbishop of Sydney. There was a very large attendance. Among those on the platform were the Rev. Saumarez Smith (the Archbishop’s chaplain), the Revs. H.T. Holliday, N. Jenkyn, and Messrs Charles Paull, E.J. Foster, P.C. Williams, and the rector of the church. A good programme of music, prepared by Mr Arthur Massey, was carried out, and Mr Fellow, on behalf of the Church, presented for Mr E. COULTER (who left by the Imperial Bushmen's Contingent) a gold medal, his brother receiving the gift for him. Refreshments were handed round.
