WELCOME TO PTE. MILLS.

Presentation to a Returned Soldier in Kildonan School.

On Friday the public school at Kildonan, the home of Pte. MIILS, of A Company, was the scene of a pleasant reception, when a large crowd gathered to honour Pte. MILLS and welcome him home from the war. An address was presented and accompanying it a gold locket handsomely engraved was handed the young soldier. An appropriate speech was given by Pte. MILLS in reply and the reception ended with three cheers for the Queen. In the evening a most enjoyable dance was given by the young people of Kildonan in the agricultural hall.
