Last night, Dr A.H. HORSFALL, who is going to accompany the second contingent of New South Wales troops to South Africa, attached to the Army Service Corps [sic], was entertained by the residents of Hamilton at a smoke concert on the eve of his departure for Sydney, to go into the Paddington Barracks, and given a most enthusiastic send-off. He was also presented with a gold medal suitably inscribed, and a silver-mounted cigar case.

Dr A.H. HORSFALL, who proceeds to Sydney this morning by the mail train, to go into Paddington Barracks, preparatory to accompanying the contingent to South Africa, attached to the Army Service Corps [sic], was last night entertained by the residents of Hamilton at a smoke concert in the Mechanics’ Institute. He was given a most enthusiastic “send-off”, and presented with an inscribed gold medal and a silver-mounted cigar case.
