ELMHURST. — A welcome home to Sergeant WILLIAMSON, Lance-Corporal SIMPSON, and Troopers SMITH and JONES was given by the residents of Elmhurst on Monday evening. There was a very large attendance. Mr Webster, on behalf of their friends, presented each of the returned soldiers with a gold medal, suitably inscribed.

ELMHURST. – A large gathering of residents tendered a welcome home social to Sergeant W. WILLIAMSON, Fourth Contingent; Lance-Corporal A. SIMPSON and Trooper R. JONES, Fifth Contingent; and Trooper A. SMITH (Scottish Horse), who were each presented with a gold medal.
