Hill | Henry Norman | | 2nd Lieutenant | He was killed in action at Kleinfontein October 24th, 1901. He was born August 1877, educated at Cheltenham, and entered the Royal Artillery in May 1900. 2nd Lieutenant Hill was mentioned in despatches by Lord Kitchener, December 8th 1901 for "very marked gallantryā€¯. His name was inscribed on the Eleanor Cross War Memorial erected at Cheltenham College.
