Kirk | J W C | | Lieutenant | Born in Zanzibar; is son of Sir John Kirk, KCB ; was educated at Marlborough Coll, and King's College, Cambridge Entering the Duke of Cornwall's LI he proceeded to SA and served throughout the Boer War; was wounded at Paardeberg (despatches, QSA, four clasps, and KSA).
