| Rorke | Melina | | Bulawayo. Mrs. Melina Rorke is listed as a civilian nursing sister. She is reported as having nursed at Memorial Hospital in Bulawayo, Rhodesia; Kimberley; and was posted to Pretoria on 25 Mar 1903. Supporting Melina's own account of her war exploits, she was awarded the Royal Red Cross in 1902. Melina is mentioned in a dispatch by Lord Roberts on 01 Mar 1902. Her medal was presented by King Edward VII in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace on 26 Oct 1902.
