Sillitoe | George Henry | 3240 | Private | George Henry enlisted on 19th June 1891, age 21 years and served in India, Malta and Hong Kong being transferred to the Army Reserve on 26th April 1899.
He was recalled from the Army Reserve on 13th November 1899 and went out to South Africa with the 2nd Battalion of the King's Own where he received the Queen's South Africa Medal with bars: Tugela Heights, Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Laing's Nek and the King's South Africa Medal with the bars for 1901 and 1902.
He was again transferred to the Reserve on 27th March 1903 being discharged from the Army on 16th June 1903.
