JulierErnestCorporalBSACM Rhodesia 1896 (0). Born at Mile End, London, and enlisted into the 8th Hussars on 9 February 1894, aged 18 years 1 month. He was discharged from the 8th Hussars, at his own request on payment of £18, at Leeds on 25 July 1896. He was enrolled into the British South Africa Police at Bulawayo on 5 November 1896, seeing service in the Matabele Rebellion 1896-97 and the South African War 1899-1902, including the relief of Mafeking and service in Transvaal. He was discharged on 17 October 1902, his certificate being signed by Lieutenant-Colonel William Bodle. He enlisted into the 24th Battalion Rifle Brigade on 12 November 1914 and served overseas in India until his discharge on 6 December 1919. BSACM Rhodesia 1896 (Corpl. E.
